My name is Yelena Mirchevskaya, and I am the artist behind Studio Yarden. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, I have always been drawn to art that feels both personal and meaningful.
My journey into Judaica began when I created my very first ketubah as a gift for a close friend — an experience that opened my eyes to how deeply art can mark a life's most important moments. Years later, during the pandemic, that spark became a business. Inspired by a desire to bring a fresh, modern, and colorful perspective to traditional Jewish art, I launched Studio Yarden.
What started as a collection of home blessings has since grown to include ketubahs and other meaningful pieces designed for contemporary living. Drawing on Mediterranean influences and a clean, minimal aesthetic, each work is created to feel both timeless and at home in any space, from minimalist to eclectic, without feeling overly formal or traditional. My customers are often people who want Judaica that reflects their identity in a modern way. Not necessarily highly observant, but deeply connected to their culture, heritage, and home.
Every piece begins as an original hand-painted watercolor. I carefully source the highest quality materials — from archival fine art papers to fine paints and gold leaf detailing — ensuring that each item is made to last as a treasured heirloom.
I currently live in South Florida with my husband Nelson and son Emmett.
