This Modeh Ani is a print of my original watercolor painting inspired by ancient mosaics and stained glass. The text in Hebrew says the words "modeh ani", with the English translation to the left. Modeh Ani, which literally means "I give thanks" is a traditional Jewish morning prayer, recited immediately upon waking, expressing gratitude to God for mercifully restoring one's soul for a new day, acknowledging life as a gift, and beginning the day with thanks before any self-focused thoughts or actions. The artwork is a museum quality archival giclée print, guaranteed never to fade and printed on beautifully textured watercolor paper. I also offer the option of a custom hand applied gold border. You can choose from 24k gold leaf border or imitation gold leaf. I expertly apply the gold once the artwork is printed to give it a luxurious sparkle. // GOLD OPTIONS // 24k gold leaf: I apply an adhesive first and then apply actual 24k gold leaf sheets. This is the choice if you are looking for something truly luxurious and a real statement piece.
